History

I grew up in Northfield, Minnesota where the seeds of my love of basketball were planted by my father.  He instilled in me the work ethic and positive outlook needed to be successful on and off the court.  I carry these with me and continue to pay it forward not only to my own kids, but to the athletes I coach.  At a young age I realized I had a gift of connecting with youth and an eye for developing basketball talent.  This has led me on a journey of coaching youth athletes in multiple sports across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Texas for over 20 years.

Family

I married my high school sweetheart, Meg, in 1997.  Best decision ever!!  We have four smart, athletic, fun-loving children.  Izzy currently attends College of St Benedict in St Joseph, Minnesota where she continues her passion of Swimming.  Lily is our junior at Keller High School where she stays active in Cross Country and Track and Field.  Lily played for Lonestar Basketball for a season prior to deciding to pursue her running passion.  AJ, our freshman at Westlake Academy, runs Cross Country and enjoys playing Basketball and Baseball.  Finally, Maya, our youngest, is a sixth grader at Westlake Academy.  She keeps us on our toes and enjoys playing Volleyball, Basketball and running Track and Field.  She currently plays for Texas Lonestar Junior High division.

Mission

My goal as a coach is to make sure each athlete that steps onto the court today, are better than they were yesterday, and are excited to show up tomorrow.
