Education

Bachelors of Behavioral Science in Mathematics from Hardin-Simmons University

Masters of Educational Leadership in Educational Technology from Lamar University (will complete May 2024)

Collegiate Athletics

I played NCAA Division III women's basketball for the Cowgirls at Hardin-Simmons University. In 2006 the Cowgirls advanced to the NCAA Div III Final Four and I had a chance to play in Springfield, Massachusetts, the birthplace of basketball.

Coaching Experience

I spent the first 16 years of my career in education as a high school girls basketball coach. Eight of those years were as a Head coach at Graham High School and Decatur High School. I also spent the last 2 years of my coaching career as the Assistant Athletic Director at Decatur High School. I decided to step away from coaching in the spring of 2022 to dedicate more time to my family and pursue my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I currently teach Honors Geometry at Argyle High School.

Family

I am married to Heath Griffin, he is a football, basketball, and track coach at Argyle Middle School. We have three amazing, elementary aged, children Ryder, Grayson, and Brycen. Ryder is a part of the Lonestar Family as well and I got the privilege to be one of his coaches last season.
